Catholic Charities Regional Agency provides two types of services to Seniors:
- Senior Support Services: this is an in-home senior support program whereby services such as social work counseling, transportation for medical appointments, shopping and banking, and supportive services to help with community programs or linkage to resources are provided. The program is a Passport provider and open to anyone age 55 and over with the goal to help seniors remain in their home with as much independence as possible.
- Catholic Charities Senior Center, East Liverpool, Ohio: this is a multi-purpose center that provides on-site and home-delivered meals, socialization and recreation activities, and medical screenings. The Center is open to all. It is partially funded through Title III-B funds thorugh the Area Agency on Aging 11, as well as United Way, Catholic Charities and the Easr Liverpool City Hospital. The Center also houses the Dierker Center, which provides Emergency Assistance and Family Support/ Counseling. |
